Hi, Ghost here... this is an old picture of me. We are having some pretty strong storms in Alabama tonight. We need the rain but hate the thunder & lightning (BG is scared of the thunder).

My turn!!! BG here - I'm not scared... I just was panting hard because it was hot not because I was scared. That's my story & I'm sticking to it.

You two stop fighting... We need to ask everyone to keep DKM & family in your thoughts with the loss of Joaquin, Bear has also been at the vet - we have been purring for her & her family. Also Gizzy isn't doing well. Please go by and offer your support for our friends. On a happier note - Happy Birthday to Beau's Mom! We think the storm has finally past. It is good napping weather....zzzzzzzzzzz....... Mia

1) Since we aren't allowed outside any we turned to the internet to be able to get out thoughts out.

Friday Feline Facts by Mia

1) Ghost has no toofies (long story that we can post if people want more details)
2) I (Mia) have had four toofies pulled because they infected
3) I am part Meezer with blue eyes (they same color as Mom's eyes) & Meezer voice.
4) Ghost is all white. She has one green eye. (other eye was removed - another long story)
5) I am not a lap cat but I like to be in same room with the humans or know exactly where they are at all times.
6) Ghost likes to sleep & be left alone except for being fed.
7) I like to go into the bathroom & meow - it helps amplify my voice
8) Ghost hides behind the washing machine if scared. She also growls & hisses
9) Mom is my favorite person but Granddaddy is okay if she isn't around.
10) Granddaddy is Ghost's favorite person but she is okay with Mom too.

Mom has been letting that woofie post to our blog! Ghost doesn't want anything to do with BG & goes behind washing machine if she hears BG in house. I only have supervised contact with BG & hisses if BG sticks her nose too close. I've also charged BG once scaring her!!! Do ya'll have trouble with your siblings too?

Hi, everyone... BG here... Mom said I could post some facts about me today.

1) I'm the 1st woofie that Mom has ever had
2) Ghost hisses at me but Mia & I having staring contests and play battles through the front door.

4) I like to go with my Granddaddy to help him work in his wood shop
5) The V-E-T said I'm a Jack Russell and am about 2 1/2 years old

Answers to Front Yard Questions

Thanks for all your wonderful comments about our yard. We thought we would try to answer some of your questions.

We saw lots of questions about the chickens. They are contained in their house so they don't bother us (other than the smell.) We don't get feathers to play with though or get to visit the chickens. The chicken houses use to belong to our family but we sold them off because they are lots of work.

Eric asked about Evil Intruder Kitties - there are some places to hide but BG (the woofie) keeps them out of the yard. Yes, there are some mices out there to chase.

To answer the question about size... we do have a large yard. Our house sits on a five acre plot of land so we have lots of land. We are able to have that much land because we live in country and used to have farm.

We hope we were able to answer your questions. We will try to post more pictures for all our friends who have all the snow since it is still nice outside today.

Front Yard

Derby was describing where he lived on his blog & we added our description but also thought ya'll might be interested in the view of our yard. This is our front yard. Those are fruit trees along the right side & you can see part of one of the chicken houses in the distance. Hope the sunshine makes those of you with lots of cold & snow feel warmer.

Thoughts for Thursday

Mom has been real busy with work & hasn't made time to help us post. We've been trying to keep up with everyone's blogs and leave comments but sometimes there aren't enough hours in day. So here are some random thoughts (1st two are serious) for Thursday from us & Mom :

1) We hope all our friends & their familes all recover and/or feel better soon. We think about ya'll a lot.

2) We want all friends who are looking for jobbies to find one that not only pays well & has benefits but also is as enjoyable as possible (Mom said most jobbies have good & bad days no matter what you do)

3) We wonder why their isn't mouse flavored cat food.

4) Are there seeing eye humans for blind dogs?

5) Do stairs go up or down?

6) Isn't it funny how the word 'politics' is made up of the words 'poli' meaning 'many' in Latin, and 'tics' as in 'bloodsucking creatures’?

7) Why is it that when things get wet they get darker, even though water is clear??

8) Why isn't chocolate considered a vegetable, if chocolate comes from cocoa
beans, and all beans are a vegetable?

9) If something "goes without saying," why do people still say it?

10) Why is the 0 on a phone after 1 and not before 1?

11) How come you pay an extra 25 cents to get something put on your hamburger but they don't take off the price if you get something taken off?

12) If all of the Acme stuff doesn't work, why does Wile Coyote keep buying their products?

Busted... Mom caught me scratching again. I have an owie like Miles. Mom is threatening to have my back claws trimmed (cause she said I don't have teethies to bite them off myself). I think will hide in case she gets any ideas.

Merry Christmas!! (And Happy RamaHanuKwanzFest!)

We hope everyone has a very Happy Holiday (whatever you celebrate). We are wrapping presents today as you can see I'm having to snoopervise (thanks George for teaching us that word) the wrapping. We didn't get our wishlist in on Wednesday because Mom is slow but here is ours....

Ghost : all our blogging friends (beans as well as fluffies & feathers) to have good health & happiness, all homeless animals & beans to find a forever home to be safe & loved, Grilled Chicken Stinky Goodness (I did get some already for holiday - thanks Beau & Beau's Mom), and I'd like to wish for many more years of good health & love in my forever home.

Mia : I want what Ghost wants for our friends & other homeless beans & animals as well, Temptations (I already ate bag that Beau & his Mom sent me), fevery butt mousies, cat dancer and scratching pad.

BG : I also agree with Mia & Ghost about the wishes for friends, plus I want treats, new collor & ID tag (with this as my furever home on it), Mia & Ghost to like me or at least tolerate me, more play time & rides with Mom, someone to throw the ball to me until I'm tired, and more stuffed toys to tear apart (thank you Beau & Beau's Mom - I already removed the squeakers from Boo Boo & he only comes out for visits when Mom can watch me now).

Jen (AKA Mom) : I need to echo the girls about our friends. I'd also wish for good health & happiness for my family (fluffies & beans alike). Please everyone have a safe holiday season regardless of what you celebrate this time of year if anything at all. Now I must get back to wrapping gifts...
