New highway signs at the intersection of routes 10 and 141 in Easthampton, Mass. are seen Monday, July 25, 2005. Does anyone see why they are going to be replaced? Mom thought this was funny Posted by Picasa
Beau & William both figured that the picture of state is wrong! What smart poodies.
The state pictured is Alabama (where we live) and the signs were way up north of here in Massachuetts. The signs were up a week before anyone noticed and are to be replaced as soon as they can.
According to the newspaper - the Alabama signs are the ones in the examples (probably cause we first state alphabetically) and that is where the confusion came in.

we even got our mom to try and help us figure-out the puzzle, but she couldn't solve it either . . . can ya give us a tiny hint maybe . . .

Hint... look at the outline of the state on the sign.

Anyway, I knew those states weren't right because Mass has that curly thing on it, but I finally got it and why your mom thought it was funny.

I only figured it out because of the hint you gave. That is SO funny!! Maybe someone made a typo in the order form as to what state it was for???
