Hurricane Katrina Relief

A word from our Mom....

Hello to all our poodies (and their peoples) friends. Fortunately we live in an area that wasn't terribly impacted by Hurricane Katrina. Close to where I work ws devastated by tornados leveling houses, chicken houses & injurying several people seriously. We know that Max is being very generous in donating profits from his book to the Red Cross. Check out Max's site
  • The PsychoKitty Speaks Out

  • Please keep the families affected by this disaster in your thoughts & prayers as well as donating money or blood if possible.

    Thanks - Mia & Ghost's Mom (Jen)

And back to the poodies! Whew... Mom sure is long winded today. She at home again. Place she works is allowing people to work from home cause of gasoline issues. We are glad to have her here but helping her is a lot of work. We need a nap!!!

    Hi Mia. Ghost and Bean,

My two-legged one and I are blessed to live in a place that doesn't experience many natural disasters. Like you, our hearts go out to all the people and animals affected by Hurricane Katrina. We pray that suffering is relieved (like right now!) and that compassion wins out over fear. I don't get an allowance, but I've asked the two-legged one to hold off on buying more toys and put the money towards hurricane relief efforts.

    Hi, Miss Kitty...

That is sweet of you to give up new toys to donate. We are glad that people are safely getting out of gulf states now and hope the recovery can begin.

    Hi, Edsel...

Mom said she was going to do those things too. We don't live near the gulf (North Alabama) but we do know some people who have been affected and will try to help them as best we can.

Thanks Lynn... We are glad the tornados didn't come here but we certainly feel for everyone suffering from damage as results from the storm.
