This is Gramma's hospital bed at home. I was checking it out before she came home. But now I can't get on it cause Gramma is home!!! Thanks to all our poodie friends for the purrayers but please keep her in them cause she is still very weak.

Hello.... Gramma's hairballs (what's that - Mom said it was congestion that caused Gramma to cough not hairballs) are clearing up some so we hope she gets to come home soon. It very tiring waiting for everyone to get here to feed us!

Gramma Update

Gramma is still at the hospital. Initially they thought she had pneumonia and gave her antibiotics but after another X-ray the doctors didn't see much of a sign of it. She does sound like she has fluid in the lungs and is getting breathing treatments for that. Last year our Gramma was diagnosed with cancer & she hasn't been feeling very good since then. Mom is very worried about Gramma and we all appreciate your concern and purrayers.

Happy Purrthday to Nicholas (Mom's youngest nephew)!!! We hope he had good day with lots of toys & treats.

Gramma Update : Our Gramma has been admitted to the human hospital. They think she might have pneumonia (x-rays were inconclusive). She has been given some antibiotics & fluids. As of last night... no new tests have been scheduled for her. Mom is going to check on her in a little while. We (and Mom) want to thank all of our poodie (and their peoples) for all the concern, good thoughts & purrayers. We appreciate them.

Greetings... Mia here.... I was just sitting here guarding my Gramma. She is very sick & Mom is very worried. We are saying our purrayers for her and watching over her. All this guarding is making me sleepy. Ghost can take her turn while I nap.

Gramma Update: Monster on wheels with flashing lights came and Gramma & Granddad on way to hospital. We don't know anything else. We miss Mom (who is at work).

Hi, Ghost here... Mom finally got a more recent picture of me up. As you can see I am missing my left eye. It got all infected and vet had to remove it. I'm much happier now cause it doesn't hurt. Mom said the picture looks a little fuzzy but that is okay because I am fuzzy.

Mia's Side of Story

Finally... Mom lets me tell my side. I'm being unjustly accused of crimes. I was just helping Mom work when the X key flew off the laptop. Mom said they were going to need blood for her cholestral test - how was I to know that it wasn't until next week. I was just trying to help. Now that is all cleared up I need a nap.

Helping Mom

Hi, we've been helping our Mom today. She had to go to the store to buy cat & people food plus some other things. When she got back we helped her put up things & Mia helped her eat the pork from the Roasted Pork w/ mushrooms (she picked up Chinese on way home). Mom's Aunt called and said that her church was housing some evacuees from Katrina so we helped get some clothes together to send to them. Mom said she was going to see if there was anything else she could do or send to help. Its been a busy day - time to take a nap.....

Close to where I work ws devastated by tornados leveling houses, chicken houses & injurying several people seriously. Weather

I'm sure most of your peoples have seen the news about something named Katrina that hit the Gulf states yesterday. Mom was just thinking that we were pretty lucky with the tornados that came through that none of our family was hurt nor their property majorly damaged. All poodies please stay dry & keep your people safe.

Hello - helping Mom work from home is a lot of work. I had to rest some before we have lunch. Gramma got sick again last night and could not eat. We hope she can eat lunch with us (but we don't want what she is having).

Hello - lots of things have been happening and Mom hasn't had time to help us post. Well, Mom's servers at work seem to be feeling better so I guess the buggies have gone away. Wonder if someone chased them? Anyway, we have been busy girls taking care of our Gramma. She hasnt been feeling very good lately and is starting to get discouraged about her health. Mom & Granddad have been trying to cook things she likes recently. We have gotten to taste them. The chicken & dumplings were great except we didn't care for the dumpling part. Then Mom made stuffed chicken & let us try it. I (Mia) liked it a lot. Now we check everytime they cook to see if it is something good. They are starting to call us spoiled! Hmmph - we just like variety.

Our Mom is working again. Anyone know how to kill buggies in servers. The ones where Mom works are full of them. She has to move the data around on them. She still at work.

Another Purrthday!

Happy 13th Purrthday to Elizabeth (Mom's neice)! We send purrs and kisses. She is a good girl who feeds us treats and pets us when she comes to visit!

Don't tell but Mom is still working on a birthday present for Elizabeth - any suggestions? Mom didn't think she would like catnip (our suggestion).

Kaboomies!!!

There are kaboomies in the sky and lots of water too. Mom is still at work so we are keeping safe in the house. Ghost is asleep in her round bed and I (Mia) am hiding under the bed. Mom wishes she was here and not trying to move databases to a new server. We don't understand her work but she makes money to buy food, treaties and toys so we don't mind so much....

Grandmother is home!

Grandmother has been home since Sunday. She has a tube sticking out of her stomach now to help her get more nutrients. Good news is that they found the bad stuff has shrunk a little more since her last CAT scan. We love our Grandmother and try to help take care of her. She uses the walker thing like Timmy's Grammie does too. Hope Timmy's Grammie is feeling better.

Our Mom has worked every day for the last four weeks straight. She is saying bad things about some of the computers at work. She said the servers are giving fits and she is having to help load the data on different ones. Doesn't sound like much fun.

Hope all the poodies are keeping dry. We have had lots of rain & storms here.
